Enabling and Setting Default E911 Address
  • Login to portal via pbx.suretel.co
  • Select Call Routing then DID Routing 
  • Find your primary phone number and click the Green Checkmark under E911
  •  Fill out form and Enable toggle Default E911 Address 
  • Click Assign
  • Repeat for all other numbers that require a different E911 address. You do not need to select a default again. The default will be used if no other E911 address is selected for an extension.
Configuring E911 Per Extension
  • Login to portal via pbx.suretel.co
  • Select Services and Extensions
  • Find the extension you want and click the Blue Edit icon
  • Under E911 DID select the DID that relates to the users corresponding address
  •  Click Update

Configuring E911 In Bulk
  • Login to portal via pbx.suretel.co
  • Select Services and Extensions
  • Checkmark all extensions you would like to update, click Select Action and Update Selected.  
  • Under E911 DID click Checkmark and Select the DID that relates to the users corresponding address
  • Click Update
As long as a default E911 address is selected on a DID 911 calling will be enabled for all of your extensions. It is your responsibility to ensure that your callers are calling from a registered address.
